As winter time is finally approaching and I have been a little under the weather, I decided to take a few weeks off to reconnect to what’s really important in life. I have to admit that one of the most underestimated things is a social media detox nowadays. It’s seriously the best way to really get a different perspective and reflect on the moments we get to experience, that get lost in this fast life full of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and to really ground myself and my mind.
I decided to finally travel to Asia – Tokyo to be exact, so I could get experience a whole new culture and refuel my creativity and also cross off a bucket list point. I really had the best time flying there with Emirates. It all started with their huge Emirates Lounge where I was able to enjoy really tasty food and relax before my flight. Let me tell you their A380 is on a whole other level and I must say they have reinterpreted luxury to me than any airline I’ve flown before. From the boarding to the super nice greeting on board, the ever so wonderful crew and even the possibility to shower on flight – how amazing can it get?
I will let the pictures do the talk for the rest of this post as you will be able to catch the emotions I felt on board. I also included some impressions of Tokyo – a place you should definitely put on your travel list 2018. Enjoy.
Gambling is huge in Tokyo and the scenery was crazy – definitley something you need to experience
Shibuya Crossing (I look funny on this photo – i was just overwhelmed cause it was basically me screaming being happy to experience it)
